Country Education Foundation of Yass Valley

CEF Yass Valley supports local youth to achieve their career aspirations through post-school education and training.

CEF Yass Valley

Country Education Foundation of Yass Valley was established to provide much needed financial assistance and support to local youth to help them achieve their post-high school education, training and vocation aspirations. We recognise that the cost of rural students pursuing their post high school goals is often much greater than those of their metropolitan counterparts and that sometimes these costs can be prohibitive.

CEF Yass Valley fundraises throughout the year and accepts donations from local residents and businesses in order to provide financial grants to students who need an extra helping hand. The funds come directly from your local community – none of it is government funded – celebrating the aspirations of local youth and working to help them achieve these aspirations.

It is so important that every child in regional NSW has access to the same quality of education as their metropolitan peers.

DID YOU KNOW?
-	43.5% of all NSW school’s are rural and remote
-	Total enrolments of 3 year old’s in preschool in regional areas has shown a steady decline
-	There is a gap in educational results between regional students and their metropolitan counterparts
-	The number of students successfully completing year 12 in major cities was 78% and 43% in very remote areas
NSW Department of Education Rural and Remote Education Strategy (2021–2024)

We are passionate about ensuring equitable access to education for ALL students’ where location should not be a factor in their educational success - this is why we are a huge supporter of the countryeducationfoundation

Every paper you buy.....we donate $1.00- not a lot your say. We say every $1.00 makes a difference to the lives of our young people
